VST3 plugin, loop library, two new kits, visual refresh
v0.36712 June 2026
The biggest update yet, covering everything since 0.252.
- VST3 plugin for Windows. Loopylicious now runs inside your DAW as an audio effect: it follows the host tempo and bar grid, takes up to 8 stereo inputs with per-track source pickers, and saves your loops inside the DAW project so everything comes back on reload.
- Loop library. Name and save loops to a library and pull them back into any session, with crash-recovery autosave for named loops.
- Two new drum kits. Funk and Deep House join the 808, all CC0.
- Visual refresh. A cleaner, deeper look: gradient panels, recessed pads, a single header button row, a slimmer labelled transport, and a livelier background.
- Tighter timing. Pad hits are recorded where you heard them, not early by the output latency.
- Better MIDI learn. Real device names, clear banner feedback while mapping, and the drum pads are learnable too.
- Quality of life. Ctrl+S saves the project, a save-before-quit prompt catches unsaved changes, and a banner warns when audio setup needs attention.
Plus a big stability pass: the audio thread no longer stalls on saves and project edits, hardware MIDI-out no longer causes dropouts, overdubs survive device changes, and a stack of plugin reload and close fixes. On Android, the mic is released when the app is backgrounded. And there is now a full user guide.
